6th International Marine Debris Conference: Call for Abstracts

The 6th International Marine Debris Conference taking place March 2018 in San Diego, California. Two sessions in particular, might be of interest within the "Monitoring and Citizen Science" track.

1. Marine Debris Monitoring Programs: Applying Data to Answer Research Questions, Advise Management and Inform Policy 

2. Monitoring by the People for the People: Citizen Science and Marine Debris Solutions. 

These two sessions will cover a variety of marine debris monitoring topics - the first session focuses on research and policy applications and outcomes of existing programs, and the second will explore best practices and lessons learned from citizen science monitoring programs. Abstract submission is open now through October 11th.
